LAISER launches laiserlabs.com
The Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence Systems and Engineering Research now has a public home, built in the open on GitLab and deployed straight from its pipeline.
- announcement
- website
Today we are replacing the placeholder at laiserlabs.com with a real website. It describes who we are, the research areas we work in, the projects under way, and how to reach us.
Built the way we build everything
The site is a static Astro application. Research areas, projects, people, and news are Markdown
files with typed schemas, so adding a post is a merge request, and a malformed entry fails the
pipeline before it can reach production. Every push runs formatting checks, type checks, unit and
content tests, a full build, and a structural check of the output, including a scan for broken
internal links. Only main deploys, to GitLab Pages.
Monitored from the start
The pipeline that builds the site is instrumented with GitLab Observability, and a scheduled probe exports uptime and latency telemetry over OpenTelemetry so we notice if the site goes down before you do.
What comes next
Research notes and write-ups from our active programmes, a publications page, and fuller profiles of the people doing the work. If you are interested in collaborating, get in touch.
